About Us

At Touchstone Tanzania we offer a palette of unique safari experiences carefully designed to showcase the very best of our country's natural wonders
and wildlife.

Our founder, Lalashe Mollel, is a native Maasai with years of experience arranging and guiding safaris, trekking adventures, cultural tours and Zanzibar Beach Holidays.
Born and raised in the Arusha region, he holds a degree in Wildlife Tourism and Management with a focus on wildlife safaris and bird ecosystems from MWEKA, the College of African Wildlife, based in the Kilimanjaro Region.
Certified by the Tanzanian government as a National Safari Guide, Lalashe considers himself and his employees first and foremost cultural ambassadors.

Before Lalashe Mollel founded Touchstone TZ, we were fortunate enough to be the beneficiary of his kind, thorough and professional care. I run an organization that is supporting a girls school initiative west of the Serengeti. It’s not an easy place to get to! I have traversed the Serengeti many times with Lalashe as we travelled to and from Kitenga. He is an extremely cautious driver and has been my teacher on both the wildlife and culture of Tanzania. As well, Lalashe was our chosen guide as we curated donor visitor trips to the school. He immediately became part of the GEC family and led what have become ‘trips of a lifetime’ for many. Tanzania is an incredible country on so many different levels - beauty, culture and wonderful people. You must go!
